Description

The National Congress on Safety and Health at Work will take place in A Coruña, Spain, from November 6th to 7th, 2024. The event will focus on discussing the Spanish Strategy for Safety and Health at Work 2023-2027, highlighting its role as a key instrument for promoting preventive public policies. The conference will also address the main challenges and present reports on the progress made towards the completion of the first Action Plan (2023-2024), as well as provide a platform for experts to exchange knowledge on priority issues.

The first part of the Congress will take on a more institutional tone, offering a broad overview of occupational safety and health policies at international, European, national, and regional levels. Representatives from key institutions, including the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), will be present. Notably, William Cockburn Salazar, Executive Director of EU-OSHA, will represent the agency at the event.
