2e Forum sur les frontières

The Borders Forum will put the spotlight on cross-border areas, which concern 40% of the European Union and more than 2 million cross-border workers. Bringing together local, national, and European actors of cross-border cooperation, this event will highlight the place, the role, and the resilience of cross-border territories in Europe. The Green Deal, the new Interreg programmes, the revision of the Schengen Border Code and the recent Franco-Italian Treaty of Quirinal are all recent examples of the importance of border regions in the European and national political agendas.
